Exceptionally fine original condition throughout and expertly crafted in the style of the John Rupp School of Hanover, PA, dovetailed gallery, two drawers over two doors, wide proportioned, mortised and tennoned throughout. Original hardware. Found in farmstead in York Country.

Two part cupboard top dry sink in wonderful original condition with appropriate wear. It has very nice form with decorative valence and cut outs. The piece retains its original vibrant mustard and brown grain paint and unpainted interior. Constructed of poplar, pine and basswood, square nailed, hand champhered, and through tenoned. Found in Lancaster County, PA. It is likely of Amish origin.

Mixed hardwood and softwood country rocking chair with wide plank bottom seat in nice form. The rocker is in original brown paint with gold trim and free hand painted floral design in yellow, red and green. Found in southwestern PA. One arm has had a break professionally restored, otherwise it is in original condition.

Two part Federal secretary in excellent condition including original brass hardware. Two upper glazed doors with working lock and key, adjustable shelves, and two small chamfered and edged band veneered drawers in contrasting wood, over a three drawer chest. Constructed of burl mahogany veneer over pine. Nice small size and form. Professional restoration to drawer runners and some minor veneer work make this piece ready for use.

Federal softwood paint decorated washstand in extremely fine original condition. Black background with red decoration, gold striping, and stenciled decoration. Very nicely proportioned with shaped back splash, dovetailed gallery, and drawer. Vermont origin. Some paint loss and a shrinkage crack on the top that had been repaired long ago.

Softwood country washstand in great form and original mustard faux grain paint decoration. The square nailed construction of this PA piece includes 3 dovetailed drawers in fine working condition, one with a replaced knob. Wheels were added at some point and are old.

Country storekeepers or plantation desk in excellent condition with great form and nice look. Finely constructed with cherry primary wood, dovetailed drawers and case, mortise and tenon joinery, and rabbits for adjusting shelves. Retains most of its early glass. Northern New York origin.

Blanket box with original red flame grained paint. Expertly constructed of birch and chestnut with dovetailed case and mortised till. Extremely fine condition with very little paint loss. Box is signed under till lid, "Willoughby Thomas, Beaver Creek". This identifies the piece of Maryland origin (where it was found). Willoughby lived from 1845 to 1917 and was of German decent. Willoughby was identified in the 1880 census living in Boonsboro, MD, while his father Joel was identified as living in Beaver Creek, MD.

Country Hepplewhite tavern table with original red legs and apron over maple and scrubbed chestnut top.  Mortise and tenoned construction.  The legs and apron were painted at one time and have since been scraped back to the original paint.  Top is fastened to apron in unusual manner using battens as seen in lower left photograph.  PA origin (found in Washington County).

Federal dressing mirror in excellent original condition including finish, hardware, and mirror. This finely constructed piece is made from mahogany wood and veneer primary wood and includes inlaid ebony and satinwood. Two of the dovetailed drawers have ivory knobs.  The case, mirror, and drawers are dovetailed.
